Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Punjab next month for campaigning

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab next month. He will participate in rallies and meetings for the Lok Sabha election campaign.

The protocol branch of the Punjab government’s general state management department has issued a letter to all department heads, DCs, police officers regarding security arrangements.

Instructions have been given in the letter that the rules regarding the security arrangements of the PM should be followed and preparations should be completed in time.

According to the letter, whatever arrangements are made at the state level regarding security protocol, they should be completed. This includes security barricades, parking facilities, helipads and other arrangements. Most of the departments have also issued instructions in this regard to their branches.
