Jharkhand minister’s personal secretary, his servant arrested in Rs 32 crore recovery case

Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday arrested Sanjeev Lal, personal secretary of Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam, and his domestic help in connection with the recovery of over Rs 32 crore in cash, officials said.

The two were taken into custody under sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after night questioning, the sources said. The two did not cooperate in the investigation and kept evading questions posed by ED officials
