NIA begins probe in Punjab’s Prabhakar murder case: VHP leader shot dead on April 13

Chandigarh: The Central National Investigation Agency (NIA) has now started the investigation into the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Vikas Prabhakar alias Vikas Bagga in Nangal, Punjab.

The previous day, the NIA has filed a separate FIR in Delhi regarding this murder case.

It is believed that soon the NIA team will take both the accused arrested by the Punjab Police on remand for interrogation in the Prabhakar murder case.

Punjab Police had claimed that the arrested accused had links with Pakistan and the murder was also done at the behest of Pakistan.
