USA scripts history, beats Pakistan in T20 World Cup

Washington: The US defeated Pakistan in the Super Over at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, causing a major upset in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Batting first after losing the toss, Pakistan managed to score 159 runs. In reply, the US also scored 159 runs in 20 overs.

The US needed 15 runs to win in the last over but could only score 14 runs, sending the match to the Super Over. Batting first in the Super Over, the US scored 18 runs. Pakistan needed 19 runs to win the match but only managed to score 13 runs.
