AAP announces candidate for Jalandhar bypoll, fields former BJP minister’s son

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday declared its candidate for the by-election to Jalandhar in Punjab. AAP has given ticket to Mohinder Bhagat, who left BJP to join the AAP.

Mohinder Bhagat is the son of former BJP minister Chunni Lal Bhagat. He has a strong hold in Jalandhar West circle. He did not get a ticket from the BJP.
