Farmer unions seem arrest of those who conspired to defame farmers’ movement, create ruckus

Chandigarh: The farmers, who were protesting at Shambhu border in Patiala district to press for various demands, demanded the arrest of those who allegedly tried to create a ruckus at the protest site.

The protesting farmers today alleged that “mischievous elements” backed by the Punjab and Haryana governments had hatched a “conspiracy” to defame their ongoing agitation.

The farmers had on Sunday alleged that a group of people tried to create ruckus and occupy the stage at the protest site.
