Kejriwal withdraws plea in Supreme Court against interim stay on bail
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today withdrew from the Supreme Court his plea challenging the Delhi High Court’s interim stay on the trial court’s bail order in a money laundering case related to an alleged excise scam.
A vacation bench of Justices Manoj Mishra and SVN Bhatti allowed Kejriwal to withdraw his plea.
Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, appearing for Kejriwal, told the bench that since the high court had passed a detailed order on June 25, he wanted to file a concrete appeal.
