“Murder of democracy: ‘Kejriwal will not bow down,” CM Mann lashes out at BJP over arrest of AAP supremo

Chandigarh: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the CBI after being granted bail by the Enforcement Directorate.

Kejriwal was taken into custody by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday and has been placed on a three-day remand.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann criticized Kejriwal’s arrest, posting on X (Twitter) and targeting the central government.

CM Mann shared a picture of Kejriwal, stating that it represents the struggle against dictatorship. He wrote that Arvind Kejriwal will not bow down, regardless of the atrocities committed against him. Mann called the arrest a blatant misuse of the CBI at the behest of the BJP.

He added that just as their name will also be remembered among the tyrants.
