Aam Aadmi Party gets stronger in Jalandhar, dozens of Congress-BJP leaders and workers join AAP
Jalandhar: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab got a big boost for the Jalandhar West Assembly by-election. the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress Party have suffered major setbacks. On Thursday, dozens of leaders and workers of Congress and BJP left their traditional parties and joined the AAP.
BJP leader Harjinder Singh Laddha and BJP leader Sumit Handa, Yash Vohra, Gagan Kumar, Praveen Chawla, Gurdayal Singh Preet, BK Maini, Karam Singh and Sunil Kumar Vigha also joined the AAP.
Many senior Congress leaders also left their party and joined the AAP. Jalandhar District Vice Presidents of Congress Ajay Kumar, Block General Secretary Ranjit Singh Ladi and Congress leaders Ravinder Singh Montu, Kimi Kesar, Amit Bhagat, Param Preet Singh, Shashi Bhagat, Naresh Bhagat, Amit Bhagat, Rajinder Bhagat and Rakesh Bhagat joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted all the leaders into the party and welcomed them in the presence of Aam Aadmi Party’s Lok Sabha candidate from Jalandhar Pawan Kumar Tinu and AAP MLA Barinder Goyal.
In his statement, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the people of Jalandhar West Assembly are with the Aam Aadmi Party. Even in the 2022 elections, the people here made the AAP candidate win, but due to his betrayal and insulting the public’s mandate, the by-election is imposed on the people, but I am confident that this time too the people here will make the AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat win with a huge majority and will give a befitting reply to the cheaters.
