Encounter underway between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: An encounter is underway between security personnel and militants in Kulgam district. Kashmir police officials said the encounter broke out in Modhragam.

There has been an increase in the number of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few months. In June, three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Gandoh, Bhaderwah sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district.
