Sunil Jakhar meets Sandeep Thapar Gora, says growing intolerance not good for Punjab

Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar on Friday visited the hospital to meet Shiv Sena Punjab leader Sandeep Thapar Gora, who was injured in the murderous attack. “Intolerance is on the rise in Punjab. The Mann government is not able to handle law and order.”

Shiv Sena Punjab leader Sandeep Thapar Gora, who raised voice against fundamentalists, was attacked with swords by three youths in the middle of the road on Friday morning.

The attackers inflicted 12 stab wounds on the head, neck, shoulders and hands. At the time of the incident, Gora was accompanied by his security guard, but he could not do anything in front of the attackers.
