‘Young Team India’ piled up ahead of Zimbabwe, lost the match by 13 runs

New Delhi: Zimbabwe defeated India by 13 runs in the first T20 match. 8 batsmen of the Indian team could not even touch the tenth figure in terms of runs. Zimbabwe had put 115 runs on the scoreboard while playing first, but when India came to chase the target, more than half the team had returned to the pavilion within 50 runs. At one time India’s score was 47 for 6 wickets.

Although Avesh Khan and Washington Sundar’s small but important partnership of 23 runs raised the hopes of Team India, but Zimbabwe’s team appeared in a different mood. This is India’s first defeat in T20 cricket in 2024.
