Shiv Sena leader’s son rams his BMW in scooter, woman dies

Mumbai: A woman riding a scooter died in a road accident in Worli area of Mumbai. She was travelling with her husband when a BMW car hit her. It is learnt that the car was being driven by the son of a Shiv Sena leader.

The deceased woman has been identified as Kaveri Nakhwa (45), an official at Worli police station said. The driver of a luxury car hit him around 5:30 am.

Reacting to the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said the law is equal for all and no one will be spared.
