Major terrorist attack in J&K’s Kathua, 5 army soldiers martyred, 5 injured
New Delhi: A fierce encounter took place between terrorists and army personnel in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. In this incident, 5 army soldiers were killed and 5 others were injured. Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir is adjacent to Pathankot district of Punjab.
On the whole incident, army sources have said that the terrorists attacked first, the soldier retaliated.
The incident took place at Badnota village in Lohai Malhar, 150 kms from Kathua town, when some Army vehicles were on routine patrolling in the area, when they were targeted by militants, they said.
