Russia agrees to release all Indians working as support staff to Russian military
Moscow: Russia has agreed to India’s demand to stop recruiting Indians as auxiliary personnel in its army and ensure the return of Indians working in the army.
This information was given by Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had strongly raised the issue during his informal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last night.
He said the Russian side has promised that all Indian nationals will be released soon. He said the two sides are working together to ensure the return of Indians home.
