MP Amritpal Singh’s brother arrested by Punjab police in drug case

Chandigarh: In Punjab, the police arrested Harpreet Singh, brother of Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, with ice (drugs). Amritpal had hit the headlines with his anti-drug campaign in Punjab.

Five grams of ice has been recovered from Amritpal’s brother Harpreet Singh. The drug recovered from Harpreet is said to be methamphetamine. After this, he was also medically done late at night.

Sources also say that at the time he was caught, he was drunk. However, it has not been confirmed yet. At the same time, the police have also videographed this entire case.

Harpreet was accompanied by another accomplice. He has been detained by the police. He has been arrested during the blockade on Phillaur highway. They were in the car at the time.

Jalandhar Rural Police SSP Ankur Gupta confirmed the arrest of Amritpal’s brother Harpreet Singh. SSP Ankur Gupta said, “We have arrested Harpreet. We will share information about this with you soon. Ice has been recovered from Harpreet.”
