Hate Crime: Two stabbed with sword at UK gurdwara, teen arrested

London: In a suspected hate crime case at a gurudwara in Gravesend, UK, a 17-year-old minor attacked the devotees with a sword. Two Punjabi women were injured in the incident. They suffered injuries on their hands and arms.

Police have arrested the accused with the help of devotees. Its videos have also surfaced on the social media.

At present, the police is interrogating him. The accused juvenile is a British citizen. The incident took place at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend on Thursday evening (UK time).

According to eyewitnesses, devotees were paying obeisance at the Gurudwara premises. During this, the accused teenager entered the Gurudwara premises as a Sikh devotee.

He picked up the kirpan kept there as he bowed his head and turned towards the devotees.
