Supreme Court orders probe into controversial NEET question
New Delhi: The NEET case was heard in the Supreme Court today. A bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud heard over 40 petitions on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court said that question number 19 of physics with two correct options should be examined. In this examination, 44 students got grace marks by giving two correct options. The apex court said that the opinion of experts of IIT Delhi should be taken on this matter.
The court ordered that the Director of IIT Delhi should constitute a three-member expert committee to examine the two correct answers and select the correct question from both the team of experts and send his opinion to the Registrar by 12 noon. This was the fourth hearing in the Supreme Court and the next hearing will be held again tomorrow.
