Rahul Gandhi should apologise after SC verdict on NEET UG issue: BJP
New Delhi: The BJP has targeted Rahul Gandhi in the NEET UG case. He said the senior Congress leader had defamed the country by questioning the sanctity of the NEET UG examination system.
After the Supreme Court’s decision, the BJP has surrounded Rahul Gandhi and asked him to apologize on this issue. The court had on Tuesday dismissed petitions seeking cancellation of the exam and re-conduct.
BJP leader and former Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at the opposition, especially Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, after the verdict, saying he has defamed India’s test globally. He dismissed Gandhi’s criticism of the budget as a “save the chair” budget, saying it was not the BJP’s fault if people had repeatedly rejected him and his party in the elections.
