Delhi excise policy case: CBI files charge sheet against Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: The CBI has filed a charge sheet in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others in connection with the excise policy case.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi High Court reserved its order on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with an excise policy case.

The court has also reserved its verdict on the issue of Kejriwal’s interim bail plea. During the hearing, CBI counsel D P Singh said there was sufficient material on record to justify the need to arrest the petitioner.
