1 child killed, 3 injured as school van collides with tree in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: A speeding van rammed into a tree while bringing children from home to school in Jagraon of Ludhiana district on Tuesday morning. One child died on the spot, while several children were injured. The deceased child is said to be a resident of village Akhara.

According to the information, on Tuesday morning, the speed of the school van coming to school from village Akhada and other villages on Raikot Road was so fast that the whole van was shattered after hitting the tree.

Three children were seriously injured in the accident. Those who were admitted to the hospital with the help of ambulance where they are undergoing treatment.
