Kamala Harris first Indian-African woman to get a presidential ticket

Washington: Vice President Kamala Harris has won the official presidential nomination of the Democratic Party. With this, she became the first Indian-African woman to get a ticket for the party’s presidential election.

Harris, the Indian-origin Vice President, was declared the ruling Democratic party’s presidential candidate after President Joe Biden announced his exit from the presidential race in the upcoming elections last month.
