Decision on Vinesh Phogat’s appeal postponed to August 16

Paris: The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has once again deferred its decision on an appeal filed by Indian woman wrestler Vinesh Phogat. The Indian Olympic Association gave this information in a statement and said that the court will now pronounce its decision on August 16.

The Sports Arbitration Court had reserved its verdict after hearing the arguments of all the parties on Vinesh’s appeal, which was scheduled to be pronounced on Tuesday, August 13.
