Wholesale inflation rate eases to 2.04 percent in July

New Delhi: The country’s wholesale inflation slowed to 2.04 per cent in July. According to the government data released today, the wholesale price index-based inflation rate was 3.36 percent in June.

The annual inflation rate of primary products of the Wholesale Price Index stood at 3.08 per cent in July 2024 as against 8.80 per cent in June 2024. The annual inflation rate of fuel and electricity has increased to 1.72 per cent from 1.03 per cent in June 2024.
