Chandigarh: Schools, colleges and government offices in Barnala will remain closed tomorrow. Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur has issued a holiday order in Barnala on Tuesday (August 20).

Government and private offices in Barnala will remain closed due to this holiday. Apart from this, many institutions including schools, colleges will remain closed.

These orders will not be applicable to educational institutions, universities, boards, schools, colleges, etc. where examinations are going on.

These orders have been issued by the Deputy Commissioner Sangrur. Tributes are being paid to Shaheed Sant Harchand Singh Longowal on his death anniversary on August 20. Due to this, a holiday has been declared.
