30-year-old man beaten to death by Nihang in Amritsar

Amritsar: In a tragic incident in Jahangir village, located in the Kasba Kathu Nangal area of Amritsar, a 30-year-old man was beaten to death by a Nihang on Thursday night. The victim, identified as Malkit Singh, was the only son of his parents.

According to local residents, the accused Nihang Singh lived near Malkit Singh’s house. The two were reportedly involved in a dispute that escalated late in the night. Following the altercation, the Nihang allegedly assaulted Malkit Singh, inflicting severe injuries that ultimately led to his death.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and took possession of the body, sending it for postmortem examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the killing. The accused is currently on the run, and police efforts are underway to apprehend him.
