Visa Land Immigration Company duped two people of Rs 13.59 lakh, case registered

Chandigarh: Another case of fraud has been registered against Visa Land Immigration Company in Sector-70. Previously, more than half a dozen FIRs had been filed against the operator of Visa Land Immigration Company in Thana Mataur. This time, the company has been accused of cheating two individuals out of Rs 13.59 lakh. The accused have been identified as Nishan Singh, Kulvir Singh Kaura, Reet Kaur Kaura, and company staff. All were associated with Visa Land Immigration Company.

Nishant Kumar, a resident of Kotkapura Pratap Nagar, filed a complaint with SSP Mohali. In the complaint, he stated that he saw the company’s advertisement in a newspaper, offering work permits for Canada. He contacted the company, and on February 7, 2023, he visited the office with a relative, where they were told that the expenses would amount to Rs 5.75 lakh. He paid the money for the Canada work permit.

Similarly, when he returned to the office on February 23, he found it closed. There, he met Sardool Singh of Tarn Taran, who informed him that the company had also taken Rs 7.5 lakh from him. Together, they reported the fraud to the police. After investigating, the Mataur police registered a case against the company’s operator and staff.
