Controversial IAS officer Puja Khedkar sacked by central government
New Delhi: The central government on Saturday dismissed Puja Khedkar from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with immediate effect. The move by the government comes a month after the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) cancelled her selection in the government service. Khedkar was found guilty of fraudulently availing benefits of OBC and disability quota.
UPSC had also banned him from taking the entrance test for life after cancelling his selection. She was found guilty by the UPSC of falsely identifying himself several times to appear for the exam.
