Woman murdered on suspicion of having illicit relationship

Chandigarh: A woman was murdered over an illicit relationship in the town of Ajitwal. According to the information received, Harpal Kaur, aged 52 years, was married at village Bughipura and had been living in a rented house for a year in the town Ajitwal.

Giving details, SHO Ajitwal Harwinder Singh said that the woman’s lover Manpreet Singh Mani, a resident of Rode, suspected that Harpal Kaur had an illicit relationship with another person. So he beat Harpal Kaur too much and she died. The accused will be nabbed soon, he said.
