Youth from Punjab dies of heart attack in California days before wedding

Kapurthala: A 32-year-old man from Punjab’s Kapurthala district, Gurjeet Singh, tragically passed away from a heart attack in California, USA, just days before his wedding.

The incident has left his family inconsolable.

Gurjeet Singh, son of Gurdev Singh and a resident of Kuka Talwandi village, had moved to California six months ago.

He was scheduled to return to Punjab in two days for his wedding, which was set for October 18.

According to his uncle, Harjinder Singh, Gurjeet was preparing to catch his flight back to India when he visited a Gurdwara with a friend to pay respects. It was during this visit that he suddenly collapsed from a heart attack. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The family, who had been busy preparing for the upcoming wedding, is devastated by the sudden loss. Efforts are underway to bring Gurjeet’s body back to India for final rites.
