Six injured in firecracker explosion during religious pilgrimage

Chandigarh: Six people were injured in an explosion caused by firecrackers during a religious pilgrimage in the Prahlad Nagar area, police reported on Sunday. The blast also shattered windows of nearby shops and houses.

According to officials, the incident occurred when a bag of firecrackers caught fire while some participants were setting them off.

All six injured individuals were taken to a local hospital, with two being transferred to a private hospital due to the severity of their injuries.
