Arvind Kejriwal launches campaign to expose BJP’s conspiracies

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal launched a public contact campaign on Wednesday aimed at exposing alleged conspiracies by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

From October 16 to 29, AAP workers will visit households across Delhi, sharing a letter from Kejriwal that details the circumstances surrounding his imprisonment.

In his letter, Kejriwal highlighted his government’s initiatives in Delhi, including free and round-the-clock electricity and water, healthcare services, women’s bus travel, and pilgrimage facilities for the elderly.

He accused the BJP of failing to deliver similar services in the 22 states it governs, asserting that his arrest was a tactic to hinder progress in Delhi and silence demands for improved services in BJP-ruled regions.

Kejriwal claimed that the BJP aims to regain power in Delhi through any means necessary, warning that if successful, the party would reverse the benefits currently available to residents.

He expressed confidence that voters would reject the BJP’s “conspiracies” in the upcoming assembly elections, enabling AAP to secure another term.

In his letter to the people of Delhi, Kejriwal stated, “These people kept me in jail for five months. Why did they arrest me? If you know the real reason, your senses will fly. Everyone knows that I have not done any corruption.”

He said that his arrest was intended to disrupt the services he provides to the citizens of Delhi.
