Bibi Jagir Kaur to contest for SGPC president’s post

Amritsar: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced Bibi Jagir Kaur as its candidate for the election of president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).

The election for the post of president of the Sikh body is scheduled to be held on October 28. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sudhar Lehar convener Gurpartap Singh Wadala said Bibi Jagir Kaur would be the party’s candidate for the post of president. He announced the name of Bibi Jagir Kaur in the presence of SGPC members.
