Delhi farmers block Chandigarh-Delhi highway for four hours

New Delhi: In view of the slow pace of procurement of paddy in Punjab, the Sanjha Kisan Morcha has announced the closure of the Chandigarh-Delhi highway for four hours from 11 am on Friday.

The farmer leaders said that from 11 am to 3 pm, Lalru town

The Ambala-Chandigarh highway will be blocked.

“We have made alternative arrangements to continue the traffic from Derabassi to Barwala and further towards Ambala,” Deputy Superintendent of Police Bikramjit Singh Brar.
