Raja Warring submits apology to Sri Akal Takht
Chandigarh: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president and Member of Parliament Amrinder Singh Raja Warring recently issued a formal apology to Sri Akal Takht Sahib after making remarks about Giani Raghbir Singh, the jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, during a media interview.
Following strong objections from Sri Akal Takht, Warring initially offered a public apology the same evening. However, he has now sent a formal apology letter through senior Congress leader Bhagwant Pal Singh Sachar, who delivered it to the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht.
In his letter, Warring expressed remorse, stating, “Man is forgetful, but the Guru is blessed; please forgive my innocence.”
