AAP expels Gurdeep Bath from party over anti-party activities
Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expelled Gurdeep Bath, citing his opposition to the party’s official candidate in the upcoming assembly by-election in Barnala, Punjab.
Bath’s initial party membership has also been terminated, with the decision announced through a post on AAP’s social media account, X.
The party provided two key reasons for the expulsion. Firstly, it noted that Bath’s rhetoric and media statements have negatively impacted AAP’s image. Additionally, AAP claimed Bath’s decision to contest against the party’s candidate in Barnala as harmful to party interests.
