Another set back to Akali Dal, Senior leader Anil Joshi resigns
Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal faced another setback as senior leader Anil Joshi announced his resignation from the party.
The former minister submitted his resignation to the party’s working president, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, citing disillusionment with the party’s current leadership and vision.
Joshi criticized the party’s deviation from the principles laid down by Parkash Singh Badal, stating that Sukhbir Singh Badal has failed to uphold his father’s legacy.
He expressed concern over the lack of efforts to foster communal harmony, accusing the party of focusing solely on “cult politics” and displaying a confused political approach.
