Air India pilot dies by suicide, boyfriend arrested

Mumbai: A 25-year-old Air India pilot, Srishti Tuli, was found dead in her rented flat in Mumbai’s Rol area on Monday, with police confirming it as a case of suicide.

Following the incident, her male friend, Aditya Pandit (27), has been arrested on charges of harassment.

Tuli, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been residing in Mumbai for work since June last year.

Police reports said that she hanged herself using a data cable. Relatives of the deceased alleged that Pandit had been harassing her, misbehaving, and pressuring her to stop eating non-vegetarian food.
