Sukhbir Badal performs sewa at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib
Fatehgarh Sahib: Former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, along with senior Akali leaders, visited the historic Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib today to perform sewa during the third phase of a religious service.
Wearing a servitor’s chola and carrying a spear, Badal served as a guard in front of the gurdwara’s dudi (drum), followed by performing Gurbani Kirtan.
He later joined his family and Akali leaders in the langar hall, where they cleaned utensils as part of the sewa.
Prominent leaders accompanying him included Lok Sabha member Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Akali Dal acting president Balwinder Singh Bhundar, former minister Bikram Singh Majithia, and others such as Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Gulzar Singh Ranike, and Sucha Singh Langah. Several other party members and supporters were also present.
Notably, Sukhbir Badal refrained from speaking to the media during the visit. However, other Akali leaders condemned the recent attack on him, describing it as a conspiracy.
