Pandher urges farmer organizations to unite for ongoing protest demands
New Delhi: Sarwan Singh Pandher, convener of the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, has called for unity among farmer organizations to strengthen their ongoing protest at the Dhabai Gujjars and Shambhu borders.
The movement, which has persisted for the past 10 months, is fighting for the fulfillment of 12 key demands by the government.
During a press conference held at the Shambhu border on Sunday, Pandher issued a letter addressed to all organizations under the Samyukta Kisan Morcha.
He said that the need for renewed solidarity to advance the farmers’ struggle. He stated that unity remains critical in pressuring the government to address their demands.
Pandher also highlighted his long-standing efforts to foster collaboration among various groups, noting that attempts to build unity began even before the movement was initiated.
Reaffirming his commitment, he urged all organizations to come together and continue the fight for farmers and laborers.
