Peel Police release photos of suspects in Brampton temple violence
Brampton: The Peel Regional Police have released photos of individuals allegedly involved in violent clashes outside a Hindu temple on Gore Road on November 3. The incident reportedly involved Khalistan supporters and others, prompting police to appeal to the public for help in identifying the suspects.
In a press statement, police urged citizens to come forward with any information that could lead to arrests. They assured the public that informants’ identities would remain confidential and that no action would be taken to inconvenience them.
The police also revealed that they had reviewed dozens of videos from the violence at the Gore Road temple and a subsequent incident in the Mississauga area the following day. After extensive investigation, they identified key suspects but faced challenges in confirming their identities.
A tweet regarding the appeal has been posted on the police’s official account on social media platform X, calling for community support in holding the perpetrators accountable.
