Seven days of national mourning declared for former PM Manmohan Singh

New Delhi: The Central government has declared a seven-day national mourning following the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Officials confirmed that a Cabinet meeting has been scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday to pay homage to the late leader. Singh’s last rites will be conducted with full state honors. Further details regarding the funeral arrangements are awaited.
