Moga man dies in Canada; family alleges marital dispute as cause of distress

Moga: A 28-year-old man from Moga, identified as Lovepreet Singh, passed away in Canada due to a heart attack, just three months after arriving in the country.

According to his father, Balwinder Singh, Lovepreet had sent his wife to Canada for studies three years ago, shortly after their marriage. However, upon his arrival in Canada, she allegedly refused to live with him, leaving him distressed.

Balwinder Singh claimed that his son was left to stay with friends and struggled emotionally.

Lovepreet also leaves behind a younger brother who is still studying. The grieving family has urged authorities to facilitate the return of his body to India and demanded action against his wife’s family.
