Health Department creates awareness regarding Hepatitis

To prevent the spread of Hepatitis-A, Bharatgarh Community Health Center organized a medical camp , survey and awareness camp in the village . With the aim of preventing the increasing cases of Hepatitis-A, a medical camp is being organized in village Choti Jhakhiyan by the paramedical team of Bharatgarh Community Health Center. On this occasion, a door-to-door survey and a special awareness camp were also organized in the government school of the village .
Under the leadership of Senior Medical Officer Dr. Anand Ghai , Jaswinder Singh , Manjot Singh , Jaswinder Singh and other paramedical staff of the Health Department conducted tests and administered medicines to the people who came to the camp.
Along with this , during the house-to-house survey, the team identified Hepatitis-A patients and arranged for immediate medical assistance to them. Water samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing its quality.
Block Extension Educator Sahil Sukhera praised the camp and said , ” Such camps not only prevent the spread of diseases , but also motivate people to be responsible about their health. Awareness is the biggest weapon for the prevention of Hepatitis-A .”
