Donald Trump sworn in as 47th US President

Washington: Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States during a ceremony at Capitol Hill today, marking his second term in office.

Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office, followed by a gun salute in his honor.

In his inaugural address, Trump declared the beginning of what he called “America’s golden era,” acknowledging ongoing challenges but expressing confidence in the nation’s resilience.

“The government is still in a period of crisis, but in this term, America will emerge stronger and stronger,” he said.

Trump also pledged to prevent incidents similar to those in Los Angeles in the past, vowing to put an end to infiltration.

He emphasized his commitment to making America great again, attributing his leadership to divine intervention.

He extended special thanks to the Siahpham community for their support.

The newly sworn-in president declared a national emergency at the Mexican border, announcing plans to deploy additional troops to curb illegal crossings.

Trump also reaffirmed his resolve to eliminate foreign terrorist organizations as part of his broader agenda.
