MP Harbhajan Singh campaigns for AAP candidate Atishi in Kalkaji roadshow

New Delhi: Cricketer and Member of Parliament Harbhajan Singh on Tuesday participated in a roadshow supporting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Chief Minister Atishi from the Kalkaji constituency.

The event drew a massive crowd, with locals giving a grand welcome to Atishi and Harbhajan Singh by showering flowers from rooftops and greeting them with garlands.

AAP workers and supporters filled the streets with slogans of “Phir Laenge Kejriwal” (Bring Kejriwal back) as the atmosphere turned vibrant.

Addressing the gathering, Atishi urged residents to vote for the AAP on February 5, stating, “We have to press the broom button, drive back the goons, and form Arvind Kejriwal’s government.”

Highlighting the AAP’s achievements, Atishi said Kejriwal’s government has transformed Delhi by building schools, mohalla clinics, and hospitals, providing free bus travel for women, and organizing pilgrimages for senior citizens.

Harbhajan Singh echoed her sentiments, urging Delhiites to vote for Kejriwal to ensure 24-hour electricity and water for every household.

The roadshow began near the Meera Bai temple, attracting residents who lined the streets, rooftops, and balconies to catch a glimpse of the leaders.

AAP supporters claimed the enthusiasm reflects Kalkaji’s preference for “politics of work and honesty” over “hooliganism.”
