Uproar in the House ahead of mayoral polls, AAP-BJP councillors clash

New Delhi: There was a ruckus in the House over the municipal corporation mayoral election of Delhi. After this, the process of voting for the mayor has been stopped along with taking oath for the time being.

There has been a scuffle between bjp and Aam Aadmi Party councillors. At present, the process of administering oath has been stopped.
Meanwhile, in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections held in December, the AAP had won 134 seats and the BJP’s 15-year rule in the MCD ended. The BJP won 104 wards.
