Delhi court reserves verdict in Sajjan Kumar’s 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, ruling on Feb 7

New Delhi: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has reserved its verdict in a case against former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar related to the killing of a father-son duo during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja will pronounce the ruling on February 7.

The case pertains to the murder of Jaswant Singh and his son Tarundeep Singh in the Saraswati Vihar area on November 1, 1984. The verdict was earlier deferred on January 21.

The court reserved its decision after hearing additional arguments from public prosecutor Manish Rawat.
