Delhiites are once again going to entrust Arvind Kejriwal with the responsibility of reducing household expenses: Bhagwant Mann
Delhi Election News: In a powerful demonstration of public support, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann conducted four roadshows and one Jansabha in Delhi on Saturday, rallying for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates ahead of the February 5 elections. Mann’s campaign traversed the assembly constituencies of Madipur, Hari Nagar, Janakpuri, and Palam through roadshows, and culminated in a Jansabha at Chandni Chowk.
CM Mann received an overwhelming response at Shivaji Vihar in the Madipur constituency. Addressing the crowd, Mann lauded AAP’s candidate Rakhi Bidlan as “a true soldier of Arvind Kejriwal’s army.” He urged the public to press the broom symbol on EVM and ensure AAP’s victory.
“Arvind Kejriwal is the only leader who delivers on his promises. We don’t tell ‘jumlas’; we act on our words. On February 5, your responsibility ends with pressing the broom button, and ours begins to fulfill every promise,” said Mann.
He emphasized the need to reject corrupt politics, stating, “These parties will distribute money to buy votes. Take the money, but vote for honesty and development by supporting AAP.”
In Hari Nagar, Mann thanked the people for their love and support, noting, “Your affection cannot be valued in any currency. It is priceless.” He highlighted AAP’s governance model, including free electricity up to 200 units, free water, and the Women’s Dignity Scheme that provides ₹2,100 monthly to women.
Mann also contrasted AAP’s track record with opposition parties, quipping, “Our policies care for your homes. Meanwhile, you must check your fingers after shaking hands with the opposition leaders to ensure they’re intact.”
Campaigning for AAP candidate Praveen Kumar, Mann said that AAP is a party of the people, saying, “We are ordinary people like you, committed to extraordinary governance.” He reiterated AAP’s commitment to saving citizens ₹25,000-₹30,000 monthly through affordable education, free health care, subsidized electricity, and women’s safety initiatives.
“Your decision is simple: choose between those who promote conflict and those who prioritize education and progress. On February 5, press the broom button, and let’s re-elect Arvind Kejriwal as Delhi’s CM for the fourth time,” he declared.
At Palam, Mann’s fiery speech resonated with the crowd. He encouraged voters to reject corrupt politicians, stating humorously, “Press the third button and avoid looking at others, or you might develop cataracts from their corruption.” He urged them to secure the highest lead for AAP’s candidate Joginder Solanki, reaffirming that AAP stands for integrity, progress, and accountability.
At the Jansabha in Chandni Chowk, Mann reiterated AAP’s vision for a corruption-free, people-centric government. He highlighted the stark contrast between AAP’s focus on education, health, and infrastructure and opposition parties’ divisive politics.
Reflecting on AAP’s transformative policies in Delhi and Punjab, Mann reminded the public of initiatives such as the Mohalla Clinics, which provide free treatment, and the Sanjeevani Scheme, offering free medical care for senior citizens. He assured voters of continuing these reforms with renewed vigor if given the mandate.
“Opposition parties are distributing money to buy votes, but we distribute love and deliver results. On February 5, vote for progress, transparency, and development by supporting AAP,” Mann said.
During his campaign, Mann visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib to pay obeisance and prayed for the harmony and prosperity of all people.
