Yogi Adityanath visits injured pilgrims in Prayagraj, assures proper treatment

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Prayagraj on Saturday (February 1) to meet devotees injured in the Mahakumbh stampede.

Despite a packed schedule, he stopped at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, where he enquired about their health and ongoing treatment.

During the visit, Adityanath received a detailed report from doctors and instructed them to ensure proper medical care for all.

Speaking to an injured woman, he reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry, everything will be alright.” He also emphasized that the state government is committed to supporting the devotees and that there would be no shortage of medical aid or other necessary arrangements.

The stampede occurred at Sangam Nose during the Mauni Amavasya ‘nectar bath,’ leaving several devotees injured. On Thursday, Chief Secretary and DGP, following Adityanath’s directives, had also visited the hospital, assuring full assistance to the victims.
